October 1/20 - Herzl was trained as a lawyer and the program discusses how he used his legal training and other skills to propose a solution to one form of prejudice, anti-Semitism. Herzl also believed in ending the suffering of black people (in 1902!) and allowing equal votes for women (in 1898). The program speaks to how lawyers are uniquely suited to use our skills and talents to help address the significant social issues of our time, and how we can develop big ideas and work to end discrimination and prejudice.
